Happy New Year. We're all set to kick off the year with a couple of gigs this week in Roisin Dubh. Tonight Niall and Enda will be playing acoustic support to Breakdown Rambler. Then on Wednesday night, we'll be playing a full band gig with support from Dave Morrissey. Doors are at 9 and admission is free. On other news, we've just recently set up a

There's just one track up there at the moment but we'll be adding a couple of new live tracks during the week so check it out. Its Christmas and as part of the festive spirit we'll be rounding off 2005 when we play the Damien Dempsey Aftershow party in Roisin Dubh tonight(Wednesday, 21st Dec)...We'll be kickin off at around 11.30 and admission is free...Its been a good year for us and looking forward to 2006...Merry Christmas... 21st December 2005

Well,we've got a few new gigs coming up. They are as follows :

  • Thursday, November 24th - DeBurgos, Galway
  • Sunday, November 27th - Roisin Dubh, Galway
  • Saturday, December 3rd - Cleeres, Kilkenny
  • Saturday, December 10th - Campbells Tavern, Cloughanover, Headford
Tomorrow night, November24th, we're playin in a 'Culture Jam' in DeBurgos, alongside two excellent Galway acts, 'Emmett Scanlan & What The Good Thought' and Big Danny Gallagher and his band. On Sunday we'll be taking the stage in Roisin Dubh, after the legendary Freddie Whites gig and we will be playing into the wee hours of the morning. We'll be kicking off at 12, with a late bar in Roisins. The following week, we're making our first visit to Kilkenny, playing alongside Kilkenny band Nearly Dead Jim. We recently with the guys in Dublin and they are definately worth checking out. Then on Saturday, December 10th we will be playing a special gig in Campbells Tavern. Campbells is possibly one of best venues around and we'll doing a special double header gig with Emmett Scanlan & What The Good Thought. More details will be announced shortly. Michael Chang is playing regularly with us now and will be joining us on these gigs. If you haven't seen him playing with us yet then you definately need to come along to one (all!!!) of the gigs. His playin has added an exciting new dimension to the band which you've just got to hear.Anyway thats all for now. 23rd November 2005

Thanks to all for the support at the battle of the bands. We'll be back in Roisins again in the near future, playing a full gig towards the end of this month. Also, hope ye enjoyed the gig in Deburgos on Wednesday. Its a nice little venue and we're looking forward to heading down there again shortly. 5th November 2005

Time for a band update...Firstly, some new pictures from The Grouse Lodge sessions are available for viewing

here . Also if you've been checking out the gigs page you'll see that we are pretty busy over the next few weeks with a mini tour of Ireland. This thursday, Sept 29th, we're playing the opening night of the College Sessions in NUI, Galway. Wednesday, Oct 5th we'll be playing an acoustic slot in DeBurgos. Friday, October 7th we are opening for The Guggenheim Grotto in Dolans in Limerick. The guys are touring their amazing new album which is getting great exposure from the likes of Tom Dunne, Ray D'arcy, Ian Dempsey and was Larry Gogan's album of the week. They've also gone in at #2 in the RMG charts. So as you can imagine, this promises to be an amazing gig. Then, if your around Dublin on October 12th, we'll be playing MB Slatterys in Rathmines as part of the Gigsmart Acoustic sessions....Also we'll be announcing details of when we are playing in the semi-finals of the Roisin Dubh battle of the bands. Well a very busy weekend. Just back from Grouse Lodge recording studios in Westmeath where we spent the weekend recording two new tracks - 'That Little Thing We Have' and 'Born To?'. Muse, Manic Street Preachers and Doves have recorded their latest albums there so we were hoping to be able to capture some of that magic...And I think we did!
